Türkiye’nin bu yıl 3079 m2 stand alanı ile katıldığı ITB Berlin Fuarı'nın 46.sı bu yıl 7-11 mart 2012 tarihleri arasında turizmcilere kapılarını açıyor. Berlin Kültür Ateşesi Gözde Şahin, bu yıl ITB Fuarı için özenle hazırlandıklarını belirterek “Berlin Kültür Müşavirliği 127 katılımcı ile Türk turizmini dünyanın en büyük turizm fuarında tanıtıyoruz” dedi. Gözde Şahin, bu yılın ana destinasyonunun İzmir olduğun belirterek müşavirliğin Türkiye’yi reklam, teknoloji, kültürel ögeler ve tasarımda interaktif biçimde profesyonel ziyaretçi ve halkla buluşturacaklarını sözlerine ekledi.
CSR in tourism is becoming an increasingly important issue. Nowhere is this more accurately reflected than at ITB Berlin. All areas of corporate and social responsibility are hot topics at the world’s leading travel trade show. More issues are now being covered than ever before. They include accessible tourism, human rights, seals of approval, geoparks, rainforests and over-exploitation of resources. Corporate social responsibility has been top of the agenda at the ITB Berlin Convention for many years. The Destination Days (7 to 9 March 2012), MICE Day (7 March 2012) and Mobility Day (9 March 2012) will all be addressing aspects of climate change and sustainable tourism.
Tourism research conferences in Fethiye, Turkey will be held on 24-29 April 2012 by the journal of Anatolia: An International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research.The first conference is ‘6th World Conference for Graduate Research in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure’, the sixth conference will be held in Fethiye, the beautiful and historic region of Turkey, once again hosted by the journal Anatolia. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for research collaboration and mentoring of emerging tourism researchers in order to share their research experience. We invite scholars from tourism studies and the wider social sciences to join us. Papers can be submitted for the following two categories:
Japonya’da yaşanan büyük felaket ve krize rağmen Japon turistin tercihi yine değişmedi.Japonya’dan ülkemize gelen turist sayısı bu yıl da aynı seviyesini korudu. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı’nın verilerine göre, OECD ülkeleri içerisinde yer alan Japonya, 2010 yılının ilk 8 aylık dilimde yüzde 38.61’lik artışla Güney Kore’den sonra ülkemize en fazla ziyaretçi gönderen ikinci ülke konumundaydı. 2010 yılının Ağustos ayında, bir önceki yılın aynı dönemine göre yüzde 30.57’lik artışla, OECD ülkeleri içerisinde, ülkemize en fazla ziyaretçi gönderen Japonya, 2011 yılında da yükseliş eğilimini devam ettirdi.
Türk Hava Yolları (THY)’nin Nevşehir Satış Müdürlüğü, turizmcilere yönelik bir uyarı yayınladı. Son dönemde turist gruplarının Kapadokya Havalimanı yerine yanlışlıkla Kayseri Havaalanı’na gitme olaylarının çok yaşandığını söyleyen THY, “Hiç bir koşulda geç kalan yolcular için uçağın bekletilemeyeceğini hatırlatır, benzer sorunların yaşanmaması için gruplarınızın seyahat planlarını kontrol etmenizi rica ederiz.” dedi.
The Seychelles Ministry of Foreign Affairs has completed a Visa Waiver Agreement with the government of Turkey, which will allow for Seychellois passport holders to travel to Turkey visa free for a period of up to 90 days.The agreement, which was signed by the Seychelles Foreign Minister, Mr. Jean-Paul Adam, and the Turkish Ambassador to Seychelles, Mr. Tuncer Kayalar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seychelles this afternoon has been described by the Ambassador as a clear indication of the growing cooperation and “the will, desire, and commitment to further enhance relations” between the two countries.
